Salt of the Earth Review

Salt of the Earth are award winning natural deodorant's that are kind and gentle to skin. They have won over 16 awards in the last 4 years including 'Best Natural Deodorant' in The Green Parent Magazine Awards. Their deodorants contain only 100% natural ingredients so there are no nasties or harmful chemicals. I was given the Pure Aura Melon and Cucumber Deodorant Spray which is 100ml and retails at £5.99 however, currently in Holland and Barrett they are on offer for buy one get one half price so this is an ideal time to venture into a new product.
I can honestly say that this has converted me to natural deodorants. It does the job perfectly and doesn't irritate my skin which I have found other deodorants do. It also doesn't leave any white marks which is one of the main issues I have with normal deodorants. The scent smells lovely and makes me feel so fresh in the mornings. This is also such a long lasting deodorant that it can cover me all day and night which is brilliant for those unexpected trips out at night. The best thing I love about this deodorant is that they don't test on animals!

Nakin Skincare Review

My latest collaboration is with the skincare brand Nakin. They're skincare specialises in anti-ageing treatment however, they do have some products that are marketed at people for either uneven skin tones or just a dehydration in their skin. Nakin uses the finest products to make facial products that defend, enhance and rejuvenate. Another benefit about this company is that all their products meet the Leaping Bunny cruelty free criteria. I was sent a lip treatment balm and a performance face serum and I could not wait to try these. I adore the packaging of these products, I think it looks so sophisticated. Also I must mention that currently they have a £5 discount on their website, which will be linked below, when you join their newsletter and free delivery so what are you waiting for.
I have taken a little longer to try these products as I was using other brands so I did have to stop my beauty regime to be able to try these and give my honest opinion. As I've mentioned before, I always seem to have dry lips so lip balms are one of my beauty must haves so when I saw that I had a lip balm, my day was made. The lip treatment balm is 15ml and is priced at £10 which may be a little steep for some people however, I would be willing to pay this. Instantly this lip balm nourishes and moisturises my lips so I could not fault it at all and I hardly used any at all so 15ml will last a long time. The lip balm is created with a combination of shea, mint, argan and baobab oil and as I'm a mint lover I noticed this straight away.

What I love about this face serum is that it has so many natural ingredients that each one alone has so many benefits that I didn't even know about. For example, it includes hydrolysed hibiscus extract which is known as a natural botox as it helps reduce lines such as those on the forehead and around the mouth. It also includes pomegranate which helps to reverse skin damage caused by sun exposure which I think is such a great thing to have in a facial product. I can honestly say, just like the lip balm, this product instantly absorbs into the skin and makes it feel improved and much healthier. You have to use this face serum after cleansing so this will definitely be a part of my morning cleansing routine. This is a 50ml bottle and retails at £25.
