My thoughts:

Packaging:

I am in love with the packaging! I am madly obsessed with copper and white lately so this was just perfect. It's a great size tube, not too small but not too large so this easily fits into my travel makeup bag.

Scent:

The overall smell is lovely, I get hints of floral aswell as zesty scents which must be from the Kakadu Plum and Rosemary extract. It isn't too over powering either which I have found with some facial masks before so this is a bonus for me.

Application:

I have never known a facial mask that is easier to put on than this one. You just simply use a little bit of product and rub into the skin with your fingertips. The texture feels like a bit of a scrub but softens when rubbed into the skin. I love how you only need a drop of water to activate the product when on the face. As seen in the photo, you can see the glow already and to only need to be left on for a minute is great!

Finish:

I have never been so happy with results from a face mask than I am with this. It's absolutely amazing and mind blowing at the same time! I still don't understand how within a minute my face can look like its just had a facial. After using this product, my face is instantly glowing and just looks so much healthier. I usually use this in the mornings to make me feel more refreshed from waking up. This is my first product I have tried from the Sanctuary brand and I am so pleased with my results I don't have a fault to say about it and I will definitely be trying their other products.

Technic Cosmetics Review

Technic Cosmetics are an affordable beauty brand that offer some amazing products at a price that won't break the bank. They kindly sent me PR package that included some amazing pieces that I couldn't wait to try out.

Due to preferences only, I've always seemed to stay clear from cream eyeshadows as I'm always more confident with using powders. After a quick play around I can honestly say I'm a new fan. As it's like a crayon you can easily apply the eyeshadow with a lot more precision without the fear of it ruining your foundation. I don't usually use dark colours on my eyes so my favourites are the rose gold and frosting shades. They seem to blend quite well however I found that you can blend them better with your finger rather than using a brush.

As you can see from the swatches, they are quite pigmented however there is a slight pigment of glitter which isn't seen aswell as I'd like it to when it is being used on the eyes. If the glitter was more pigmented these would definitely be one of my go to's. These do, however, retail around £4 each which in my opinion is a great price for starter makeup or to just some makeup to play around with.

In the past I have never been a fan of lipsticks but in the last few weeks I've started to become quite keen of them so I was rather excited when I received not 1 but 4 of their ColourMax Nude Edition lipsticks. To start with, because of the shape, it was quite hard to apply and I couldn't be as precise as I wished however the colour is very pigmented which I love. At £1.99 each I kind of had an inkling that these wouldn't be as effective as other higher priced lipsticks. The staying power isn't brilliant but for around 2 hours at that price I am very pleased.

Again, I'm very happy with the pigments and 'Bare Don't Care' is one of my all time favourites at the minute. I think any girl would agree but you can never have enough nude lipsticks so once again I am so pleased to be able to try out these four and I will definitely be looking at purchasing a few more.

Last but not least is the Shade Adjust Highlight. I have never owned a liquid highlight so I was so eager to give this a try. I'm still trying to find my preferred way of applying it but so far I am very pleased with the results. For me, I like my highlight to pop and this does just that. As its quite a bronzed pigment compared to my pale skin tone it acts a bit like a contour aswell which is great.

If you're after a subtle highlight I wouldn't recommend these however if you want that glow in your life then you really need to get your hands on these. I am such a big fan of highlight and I really can't get enough of it. This has gone straight in my everyday makeup bag so I show off my new glow everyday.
Once again thank you so much Technic Cosmetics for sending me these products to try out. I am so happy with these.

Face Halo Makeup Remover Review

At a Quick Glance
Brand - Face Halo
Product - Makeup Remover Pads
Price - £18
Pack Size -  3

Face Halo has revolutionised the makeup remover industry. Creating a one-step solution to removing makeup, Face Halo have kindly sent me 2 packs of their makeup remover pads to try out and let you know what I think.

You receive 3 pads in each pack and these pads are a little bigger than normal cotton pads you may use which means they're great to throw in your makeup bag and wont take up any room in your makeup drawers. As these are reusable and need washing after they've been used, having 3 means you never need to worry about not having one at hand whilst the others are being washed.

I was a little sceptical about this product as I honestly couldn't believe that one of these and just a bit of water could take off makeup however these totally work! I ran warm water over the pad and rinsed the excess water off and just wiped over my face. My makeup was removed effortlessly and there was no need to worry about harmful chemicals going on my skin as all I used was water. The fibre strands in the pad are 100 times finer than human hair which traps and removes the makeup. Lipstick is always a nightmare for me to get off however this pad took it straight off with no scrubbing.

These pads can each be washed around 200 times, amazing right. Reducing the monthly costs of makeup removers, it's safe to say these are a perfect money saver and such a useful product. I have definitely been converted. Removing makeup has now become a fun and effortless task. I am very impressed.

Skinnydip London Eyeshadow Palette Review

 At a Quick Glance
Brand - Skinnydip London
Product - Eyeshadow Palette
Price - £12.50
Skinnydip London have honestly had some of the prettiest gift sets and products in Boots stores just before Christmas. I happened to pick up their 'There She Glows' Eye Palette for half the original price so I was extremely happy with this.

I love the holographic packaging on this palette as it really makes it stand out from other palettes I've seen. I've never owned a Skinnydip London product before but after checking out their website I've noticed most of their products take on the bright and bold packaging.

The one thing I love with this palette is the mix of matte and shimmer shades. You get 12 beautiful shades to choose from so your possibilities are endless. The great thing is that the colours don't just stick to one colour shade which you find with most palettes so this means you can have many different colour options. The names of the shades are brilliant, my favourite is 'freakin' princess' which also happens to be such a lovely pink shade.

The eyeshadows are pigmented but not too pigmented so its great for a subtle look however if you do want that pop of colour they are very easy to build up and make darker. They also blend very easily which is great when you like to mix a few shades together.

As you can see above I've swatched a couple of the shimmer shades on my arm and just from that you can see how pigmented they are. They really catch the light well which is great in pictures and lives up to that sparkle you need in life. I'm a true lover of pink shades so the two left shades 'Viva La Diva' and 'Babe' are my favourites.

Joules Bath Fizzers Review

At a Quick Glance

Brand - Joules
Product - Bath Fizzers
Price - £6
Pack Size - 4

In all honestly I feel that Joules has a genuine place in my heart. I love all their fashion and homewear items however I've never had the privilege to try their bath and body products. There's nothing I love more than having a relaxing bath with bubbles and an occasional bath bomb so that's why I thought I'd give these bath fizzers a go.

The bath fizzers come packaged in egg type carton whilst being individually wrapped in decorative paper. Each bath fizzer comes wrapped in different papers featuring Joules' most famous patterns. I love the fact that these are individually wrapped so that you can use them whenever you want without the others getting ruined.

These bath fizzers are hands down my favourites so far. They have such a lovely floral scent which is very strong which also means they make anywhere they're stored smell amazing. I keep these in a drawer with all my other bath and body bits and I can say the drawer now smells divine. Each bath fizzer is also engraved with Joules' famous rabbit logo which I feel really makes these bath fizzers stand out from ordinary ones.

The great thing about these are that they actually fizz unlike many bath fizzers I have bought before. They take a long time to dissolve which is something I love about these because it is somehow very entertaining watching a bath fizzer dissolve. As these dissolve they leave a lovely pink bubble concoction which was really nice to see.

Overall, I think these make a perfect present idea and at £6 they're such a steal. Or if like me you love having a relaxing bath then these are a perfect present from yourself to yourself.

My Tarte Makeup Haul

I have got to admit I have always dreamt about owning makeup products from Tarte Cosmetics so when Black Friday came around I just couldn't resist. I spent around £50 and received 3 products so I was very happy with this purchase.

As you can see above, the packaging of these products are of high quality and in my opinion really makes the product. They arrived in the cutest tissue paper which was detailed with bright and colourful unicorns and these small details really make the biggest of difference between high-end and drugstore makeup. I will list each product individually below so that I can go into more detail.

Shape Tape Concealer

If, like me, you watch numerous makeup tutorials you will notice most beauty gurus use this concealer when doing their makeup routine. I finally took the plunge in buying this as I was a little weary of getting the right shade. I went for shade 'fair' and I've got to admit it's pretty light but for my pale complexion it is just right.

Rainforest of the Sea 4-in-1 Setting Mist

I have never purchased or used a setting mist before as I have never believed that a quick spray of mist on the face can make much of a difference. This is why I purchased the travel size of this setting mist so that I could finally see for myself what all the hype was about. For the price, I think the size of the bottle is reasonable and in all honesty it does make a hell of a difference with how long my foundation lasts throughout the day.

Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow & Cheek Palette

This cute little set has got to be hands down my favourite palette. It includes 6 eyeshadows, 2 blushes and a travel size Mascara of their best selling 'Lights, Camera, Lashes'. The eyeshadows are very pigmented anddd they blend so easily. This is a perfect beginner palette to have a play around with some of their shadows and blushes before purchasing the full size products.
The palette has a range of warm and neutral tones that are perfect for creating a natural or autumnal look. One of the shadows is the perfect shade to double up as a subtle highlighter. I love when products can be used for more than one thing, it makes me feel like I'm getting more for my money, I also have to talk about the mascara, oh my god, it's like my new best friend. My lashes become so much longer and darker without the hassle of it smudging under your eyes after a couple hours wear. I will definitely be buying the full size product of this.
