Technic Cosmetics are an affordable beauty brand that offer some amazing products at a price that won't break the bank. They kindly sent me PR package that included some amazing pieces that I couldn't wait to try out.
Due to preferences only, I've always seemed to stay clear from cream eyeshadows as I'm always more confident with using powders. After a quick play around I can honestly say I'm a new fan. As it's like a crayon you can easily apply the eyeshadow with a lot more precision without the fear of it ruining your foundation. I don't usually use dark colours on my eyes so my favourites are the rose gold and frosting shades. They seem to blend quite well however I found that you can blend them better with your finger rather than using a brush.
As you can see from the swatches, they are quite pigmented however there is a slight pigment of glitter which isn't seen aswell as I'd like it to when it is being used on the eyes. If the glitter was more pigmented these would definitely be one of my go to's. These do, however, retail around £4 each which in my opinion is a great price for starter makeup or to just some makeup to play around with.
In the past I have never been a fan of lipsticks but in the last few weeks I've started to become quite keen of them so I was rather excited when I received not 1 but 4 of their ColourMax Nude Edition lipsticks. To start with, because of the shape, it was quite hard to apply and I couldn't be as precise as I wished however the colour is very pigmented which I love. At £1.99 each I kind of had an inkling that these wouldn't be as effective as other higher priced lipsticks. The staying power isn't brilliant but for around 2 hours at that price I am very pleased.
Again, I'm very happy with the pigments and 'Bare Don't Care' is one of my all time favourites at the minute. I think any girl would agree but you can never have enough nude lipsticks so once again I am so pleased to be able to try out these four and I will definitely be looking at purchasing a few more.
Last but not least is the Shade Adjust Highlight. I have never owned a liquid highlight so I was so eager to give this a try. I'm still trying to find my preferred way of applying it but so far I am very pleased with the results. For me, I like my highlight to pop and this does just that. As its quite a bronzed pigment compared to my pale skin tone it acts a bit like a contour aswell which is great.
If you're after a subtle highlight I wouldn't recommend these however if you want that glow in your life then you really need to get your hands on these. I am such a big fan of highlight and I really can't get enough of it. This has gone straight in my everyday makeup bag so I show off my new glow everyday.
Once again thank you so much Technic Cosmetics for sending me these products to try out. I am so happy with these.
